This is a Constitutional crisis
I just heard a reasonably sensible analyst suggest we are not in a Constitutional crisis because Trump has not refused to obey any court orders. A judge has found the administration violated a court order but more importantly, even if Trump strictly obeys every court order, there are many other ways he can (and is) undermining the Constitution to a degree that justifies calling it a crisis.
1) Trump is showing utter contempt for laws. A small but very clear example is the firing of Inspectors General. He is allowed to dismiss IGs, but he must give a reason and 30-days notice. The fact that he didn't bother to do that shows that he does not consider himself bound by laws. He has said as much on his favorite platforms of X and "Truth".
2) Our VP has advocated disobeying court orders. Even if they never follow through on this, the simple threat may be causing judges to modify their rulings.
3) He is abrogating Congressional powers. Congress may not have sufficient spine to defend itself so we never get open conflict, but that's a crisis.
4) The administration is violating the Constitution. One example is how he is threatening and coercing news organizations (or their owners). The owners may feel compelled to comply, rather than fighting. So, there may not be court findings for Trump to disobey. Nonetheless, this trashing of free speech and free press are a crisis.
5) He is threatening violence against journalists and others who resist him and deputizing mobs to enforce his orders.
6) The Department of Justice has stated that it will allow public officials to violate the law as long as they follow orders.
8) He is giving enormous power to people who have neither been elected or confirmed by the Senate.
9) All of the above are violations of the oath of office that Trump and his minions have sworn.
Even if the administration backs down every single time a court orders them to do so, the flagrant violations above still justify calling it a Constitutional crisis. We shouldn't wait for a violated court order because not every such violation will be subject to judicial oversight, the process of oversight is slow, the rule of law is undermined and people or organizations may be intimidated (or not have the wherewithal) to dispute the Constitutional violations in court.
